About Lanthor Advisory
An independent real assets and private markets advisory firm built on deep practitioner expertise and a lean, precision-focused delivery model.
The founder - Helen Berhane
Lanthor Advisory was founded by Helen Berhane, a real assets and private markets professional with more than a decade of experience working with institutional investors, fund managers and asset owners across the Nordics, London and the wider EMEA region.
Her experience spans institutional client coverage, investor relations, investment analysis, capital formation support and product strategy across real assets and private markets. Her work has focused on portfolio strategy, capital allocation, fund performance and investor communication across institutional real asset portfolios.
Based in Stockholm, she combines deep knowledge of the Nordic real estate and private markets landscape with extensive international experience gained through years of working in London and across EMEA.
Helen holds an Executive MBA in International Real Estate from IREBS University of Regensburg, with international residencies at Harvard Graduate School of Design, the University of Reading and ESSEC Singapore. Why we exist
The organisations that most need senior analytical perspective - mid-sized fund managers, growing investment platforms and asset owners building institutional-grade reporting capabilities - are often underserved.
Lanthor Advisory was built on the belief that high-quality strategic and analytical work in private markets does not require the overhead of a large advisory platform. A deliberately lean model allows us to deliver sharper analysis, stronger continuity and more direct senior engagement than traditional advisory structures typically allow.
How we are structured
Small by design, deep by network
We are a lean, senior advisory platform, intentionally structured to keep every engagement principal-led and analytically rigorous. For every mandate, we bring in the most relevant specialists from our network of senior practitioners across real estate, private equity, infrastructure, private credit, private debt, fund governance, regulatory compliance and investor relations - experienced professionals selected specifically for what each client and each engagement requires, operating under our direction throughout.
Retainer-first relationships
We prefer ongoing retainer relationships over one-off projects, because our best work happens when we understand a client's portfolio, investors and reporting cadence deeply. We also take on clearly scoped project mandates where the need is specific and time-bound.

Data confidentiality and trust
We understand that engaging an external adviser means sharing sensitive portfolio data, fund performance figures, investor information and strategic plans. We take that responsibility seriously.
Confidentiality is not a policy we adopted when we founded Lanthor. It is something we have practised throughout careers spent at globally recognised financial data firms where the integrity of client data was foundational to everything. Having worked at firms where institutional investors entrust their most sensitive portfolio and transaction data, the standards we apply at Lanthor reflect that background directly.
Client data is never shared with third parties. Every engagement is governed by a formal confidentiality agreement. Data provided by clients is used solely for the purpose of the engagement for which it was shared. Our systems and processes are built with data security and access controls appropriate for institutional financial data.
We are happy to discuss our data handling practices in detail before any engagement begins. For clients with specific data governance requirements, we work within your frameworks.
A note on how we work
We are selective about the mandates we take on, because focused, senior-led delivery requires it. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will tell you directly and, where we can, point you toward someone who is. We think that is what a trusted adviser does.
We work with a select number of clients at any given time to ensure the quality and continuity of every engagement.
If you are evaluating advisory support for your fund, portfolio or investor reporting, we welcome a direct and confidential conversation.
